Invitation for April 13, 2023

As announced at the beginning of the year, the animation programme for the "Natural Resources: Geological, Biological and Environmental" axis continues with the organization of a field day to be held on 13 April in the peninsula of Quiberon (summary and programme below). This day organized jointly by the Geosciences and CReAAH laboratories, warmly thanked, will be an opportunity for all of us to re-discover some of our Breton, geological, archaeological and environmental resources.

To help us organize this outing, we suggest you register before March 26th via the following survey : https://evento.renater.fr/survey/axe-ressources-sortie-13-avril-sr9kvhmk. The move, open to all, will be supported by the axis.

Independently, please already note in your calendars a last day of animation before the summer which will take place on June 12 in the form of a workshop/debate on the notion of resources (more details will be sent to you in a future email)

organizing the day

The Quiberon peninsula is one of the symbols of Morbihan. It is also the site of research carried out at the OSUR, on syntectonic granites, on faults and geological fluids, on associated mineralization. In addition to these mineral resources, the peninsula is rich in archaeological heritage, barred spurs, Teviec island and the oldest known shellfish cluster on the western facade of France. This day on the Breton moor, facing the Atlantic, in the open air, will be an opportunity to re-discover these marvels. Picnic in your pocket, departure for the day is scheduled at 8 am, in the parking lot of the Diapason, campus of the Beaulieu. The trip will be by big tourist bus. The return is planned to Beaulieu in the evening around 18:30.
